However, to give some idea, two examples of e2undel usage follow. In the first example, the data of two recently deleted files are recovered. e2undel was installed just before undeleting the files; so the undel library (and, therefore, the names of the deleted files) are not available. In the second example, libundel was installed some time before deleting the file; so deleted files can be recovered by name.
